It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 edition of Innovations Dance Platform in Edinburgh.

Since 2014, Innovations has provided a space for independent artists and companies to share ambitious, thought-provoking dance with audiences and the wider sector. This year, we continue that commitment with a diverse programme of contemporary dance from Scotland, across the UK and Europe, alongside opportunities to connect, exchange ideas and discover new work.

As Creative Director, I am particularly excited about the launch of our industry delegate programme this year, creating more opportunities for artists, programmers, producers and audiences to come together. At the heart of Innovations is a belief in the value of artistic exchange, giving choreographers space to experiment, artists a platform to be seen and audiences the opportunity to encounter new ideas.
